Since my husband is allergic to cats, Columbo only knows the neighbor cats, which he HATES!!! The mere mention of the word 'cat' or 'pussycat' starts him barking. A cat meowing on TV also sets him off. He puts them in the same category as squirrels and crows, maybe worse. Of course, we have never egged him on
... He does, however, love cat poop...
