I wondered that too Deb. Diane...I just got done treating Rosie for a yeast infection in one ear and a bacterial infection in the other. Rosie had brown gunk in her ear and scratched it like crazy. The vet told me some dogs have yeasty ears...so to watch her. She said it could be caused by allergies or not keeping her ears dry also. I check her ears every day now.
