Let me quelch your fears, concerns.

The Growth Chart is pretty right on for most breeds. However, in the yorkie world it is not dependable. There are many things to consider.

I don't know where you obtained your puppy from or if he is from your breeding? Whether he was line bred and comes from a consistent pedigree. If he does then the breeder can guesstimate, based on the lines his possible size. Another consideration, is yorkies grow at different speeds. But, that said you have to take in to consideration that from time to time an oversized or undersized yorkie will be produced.

So, the only thing you can really depend on is "This Breed Will Make A Liar Out Of You."
No truer words ever spoken!!! In conversations with my mentor, if I even MENTION the phrase,"chart says", she shoots me a look that is capable of flash freezing an Eskimo to 250* below zero in 5.5 seconds......and depending on how her day has gone, she has been known to drop her head, throw her hands in the air and just stomp away!
