I Like your passion. Rescue is all about second chances and I love it when that perfect match happens. Twice last year we got very pregnant females and were able to place the newly spayed females and their pups. That wonderful forever home is what I want for every dog or pup we help.
The advice most of us give when someone says I want a Yorkie is, go to a reputable Rescue or choose a reputable Breeder. Then we proceed to tell them how to do that.
