Call you vet and just keep him from going back after it, with a kiss collar or whatever necessary. Poor guy - just got going on a hot or in pain there or somewhere or getting OCD. Any other symptoms at all - anything else different. Doc needs to be sure his anals are okay and he's not got hip arthritis or something going on inside that's really hurting him, too.
