I think it would be wonderful to have a little buddy for your yorkie. I wouldn't worry about size very much. Most yorkies feel they are larger than a great
dane
3 lbs is small but if she can take on your hubby's playing, it sounds
like she can take care of herself. I would be more concerned getting an
ethical breeder that will guarantee health for at least a year and breeds to
the standard. Although it's sometimes hard to detect in a pup you might
look to get somewhat the same personality...and yet opposites attract
