Love the post. Our rescue had 4 yorkies from a mill last week. This week we have 2 more yorkies, 3 shih tzu's and 3 maltese. We work to get them healthy and to socialize and get the basic training. The problem is people who want to adopt is they have very unrealistic expectations. We want to adopt but to forever homes who have the patience, love and understanding of what it takes to rehab a mill dog. We don't want to scare them off but if they can be scared they aren't the right homes. We'll just keep them until the right home is found. Any problem with copying and sending the info with the dogs to their new homes or for just general info for potential adopters? |
