No problems with mine. VERY sturdy. Stands up to Bentley flying in and out of it during the day(speed demon and tends to trip himself on the door way so if it were going to collapse I would think that would be the time) and the ball and sometimes dog running into it while we play catch. Survives being a chew toy even. LOL There are 2 clips that swing up to hold things together if you have to fold it up for travel, Bentley loves to lay in front of it and chew on them. Heck it has even survived my clumsy 16 year old daughter.

The way it sets up (comes assembled, you just need to unfold it) I'm going to guess the user didn't have a wall or 2 locked in place. It's much heavier metal then the wire kennels I have seen at petsmart/petco.

Bentley loves it. I have an xpen attached to the one side door for him to go in and out of for extra room when he is left alone at home. When we are at home I leave the big front door open for easy potty access. The past week he's been putting himself to bed there when he gets tired during the day and sometimes even the evening. At bedtime I just pick him up out of it and take him to bed with me. I only make him sleep in it at night if he refuses to settle down in bed.(that's only been a total of 3 times)
