The long thread was started based on a debte. I have made nothing but valid points. Please look past standerds in creating the perfect yorkie. (hitler tried this)

We all made good points. some agree and some disagree but lets remember not to play god.

It is all in the history ;-) Smaller yorkies have more health problems. look outside of the box. Pure is pure and if its pure and you can be prue no one should tell you not to breed it.
I wasn't going to come back either so we were both drawn back in.

I like logical thinking people because that is what I am by nature. Must be why I love computer programming and why my boss's boss drives me bonkers lol

Hitler? Really? Is it logical to compare hitler's actions to breeders breeding a dog? As was mentioned before, if I see a Yorkie in a dog show and think, "That's it! That's the dog I've been wanting." Then, I go and spend money to get that dog and I got one of your non-standard "pure" yorkies when I could have went to a true and experienced breeder and gotten a yorkie that is going to look like the one I wanted in the first place....I would be beyond Pizzed! Hitler? C'mon.

I like that you are asking these questions. I like that you do not have your mind made up about breeding Mollie. I'm sorry it's not an option to get another pup in her line from her breeder. Why is that not an option? Does this breeder not breed any longer?

You say not to play God. There is a difference between playing God and being a responsible dog parent. If you didn't control who Mollie was bred with, she could go get preggers by the pit bull down the street, no?

One more thing. No body here has told you, "No. You cannot breed Mollie. No, do not breed even pure yorkies." Everyone has said that you shouldn't.

I agree. Some very good points have been made in this thread.

I lied - one more thing lol - if you breed a dog with no experience or training or license to do so, you are by definition a byb. I know several byb's and it doesn't make them all bad (I disagree that all byb's are inately wrong). It is what it is though.
