My Yorkie, Bella is allergic to ant bites. Twice this year she was bitten by one or two ants and gone into anaphalactic shock. The first time it happened, she literally stopped breathing.........my husband gave her mouth-to-mouth while I was on the phone to the emergency vet. After waiting 20 minutes!
the vet arrived and confirmed that she was definitely in anaphalactic shock and she might not make it through the night. She was given steroids to combat the allergic reaction but she did make it! Has anyone else experienced this?
