I would not recommend using a medication on an area that you do not have a proper diagnosis for. Did your vet do a scraping of the area and look at it under a microscope? Was the area irritated when the vet saw it? If it was and he did not recommend a treatment I would find another vet. If the area was not irritated when the vet saw it maybe you could call the office back and let the doctor know what has happened since he was last seen. It does sound like he should be seen again through. |
