Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts, I am doing okay and at peace with him being gone.
Sophie Kate is not at peace with it, she keeps looking for him. I think it is more out of habit for her and she will eventually stop. Today she ran up the stairs and stopped at the Cloud 9 bed (which is at the top of the stairs), she was looking to see if Avery was in his usual spot.
