Nothing against your idea, Teresa, just not for me. Seems like a whole lot of extra work. I think it is because I probably have a few more pups than most.
Best thing we ever did was purchase the T Bumpkins & Co washable pee pads. Ordered the standard size and they wash and dry well. I was so worried Hope would get sick from eating the disposable pee pads and these were recommended to me on YT. I was concerned the color patterned fabric would confuse her but it didn't. I keep one in her her play pen and the other by the back door.
