Default Yorkies and liver problems

Hi everyone! I'm totally new at this, so please bear with me. I acquired an 8
week old toy Yorkie last year after my daughter received for Christmas.
Little did I know at the time that she would become my absolute best friend! Anyway, to make a long story short[er}, right before her first birthday, she had a seizure. Took her to the vet e.r. and vet took a blood sample, citing slightly elevated bile acids. She told me about Yorkies having problems with their livers and "shunts". Took her to another vet in the morning and they too said she had elevated liver enzymes and gave me Lactulose syrup to give her twice a day. Several months went by and she started vomiting. Took her back to the vet and this time they put her on Baytril, and antibiotic for a month. Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience and what was the solution?
