Default my new yorkie

A friend is giving me a 3 month old yorkie poo because she is too busy to properly take care of him. As a result of having MS, I am home 97% of the time,so I am home more than enough to be home with my new little guy. He will, of course, be neutered at 6 months old. I want him as a companion, not as a breeder dog. My question is this. She told me that both of his parent are yorkie poos are they were small. He weighs 5 pounds now. How much do you think he will weigh when he is an adult. It makes no difference on whether I get him, I still want him. I would just like to know. My granddaughter is already on her computer looking at cute little doggie clothes and I warned that we don't know how big he would get. My granddaughter has Asperger's Syndrome (autism) and is home-schooled), so our new yorkie poo will get lots of lots and attention.
