An oven works fine, you bake at 200 degrees and check after two hours, it may take up to six hours. I cut into 1/4 to 1/2inch cubes so it's fairly fast, the smaller it is the faster it dries. . When giving a treat think of the pre-dried size, otherwise you may end up with a fat pup! I do beef liver this way, and boil it first for about 20 minutes, cut it and then dehydrate it.
