We have old Native American trails all around where I live. Gracie loves to go hiking. I'm sure she could go much further than I am able to go now. We do start out going fairly short distances in the spring and work our way up to the further distances. When she wants a break we either stop and rest or I just pick her up and carry her for a while. That usually happens when the summer heat has set in. Sometimes I wish I could hitch a ride home myself.
