I don't know the ages of these babies but it is never wise to entice eating by adding treats..they usually are not nutritionally complete. You could try a very high grade of canned food (from the vet) mixed with a quality kibble. There are some new theories about the hih protein foods we give these Yorkies and how they affect the results of liver function lab tests.
You can always put the kibble in a bag and whack it a few times to break it into smaller pieces, mix a wee bit of wet food into the same bag and moosh it up til all of the kibble is coated with the wet food. It takes very little canned and you can start reducing the amt as the dog grows and matures. JMO
