I guess they have a very faint meaty smell but that's if my nose is right up on it. Maybe you've got a really good sense of smell!
Apparently some out there really stink and cause stains. Before I bought them I was warned to not get any kind of bully stick because I was told they stunk horribly and stained carpets. But I wanted to give him something to chew on and I didn't want to give him any rawhide. I like that they're 100% natural and made in Iowa (where I live.)
