I have an 8 year old Lasha (similar to a shih tzu) who had a cherry eye. The cherry was removed about 4 or 5 years ago and he now has dry eye. The vet said as long as I put the drops in his eye daily he will be fine. He did have some pressure in his eye, and he was given drops for that and he seams to be ok now. It is something I have to watch closly
