I must say that I am really suprised at the response this thread has received! Thanks to everyone for the tremendous support and kind words!
First, I would like everyone to know that I was not offended by anyone's comments. I completely understand that everyone is just looking out for the well being of these innocent pups. "Sugar's Mom", I am not offended at all. I realize that the way I worded my original post left me open for some scrutiny. It would have helped if I had maybe been a little more informative.
It is true that I do not "need" to justify myself, but this is a community of friends, I am the new person, and I would like to treat it with such respect. No one here knows me yet. Rather then be negative or ignore the concerns of other members, I feel it's best to address the situation in a mature manner. I have no problem being open and honest about who I am and what my intentions are.
I hope to remain an active member and participate in all the excitement, no matter if I get a Yorkie tomorrow or a year from now. I am just excited to see how things turn out and you better believe I will post lots of pictures when I do find my new baby! After all, I LOVE photography too!
