However...my sweet Carley got her Rabies & DAPPL shot, and had a horrible reaction to it. Her whole body swelled up and she has a horrible rash. I gave her benadryl and the vet came back out and pumped her full of sterriods. So, she is back (although still has a rash) to normal now..and Joey is still taking it easy.
I am so relieved the process is over, but I cant say I would recommend it to someone that isnt ready. However, if you are going to do it, I HIGHLY recommend having a mobile vet come out. It was so much better knowing they were right there and if anything were to happen my husband could go check on them  |
Glad for Joey but so sorry about Carley. Poor girl. Hope both of them do okay tonight and I know mommie won't sleep that much tonight checking on them but that's what we do.
