do you sew? if so the easiest way is to buy a pattern or a dress you like and make a pattern. If you look at my profile and then in my album titled, "things we like", you will see some basic dresses layed out flat, and you will see the velcro on them. The velcro in that style dresses goes around the neck and the belly. Those pics will give you an idea of what I think is the most basic and easiest style dress to start with. The pattern for the dress in the photo turned out harder to work with than I thought and the fit was not great.
