Death threats is going too far. Those who are against him should instead use the opportunity for educating about dog fighting and the tragedy of 'pit bulls' (no such breed, but you guys know what it means).
Btw, I just saw on TV that as some sort of anniversary commemoration - they are getting together ALL the still-living Michael Vick 'Vicktory Dogs' in one place. The surviving dogs are a great example of how many/most dogs can be rehabilitated if in the right rescue situation. Go Vicktory Dogs
