When you take that adorable ball of fur to hsi or her next vet appt., be ready. Vet offices are already posting warning signs of things to come - and coming soon they are. The current administration did not exclude those used for animals when they created and slapped on enormous taxes to all medical equipment and related assundries (hopefully, I'll be lucky and find a way to pay the new rate for my next pacemaker - but I digress. Well, what this means for your little hair balls is this: much higher costs on anything from an x-ray, CT,equipment used in cutting and resetting bones, cauterizers for surgery, sterilized intubation packets, sterilization equipment (I know, because my brother has company that sells that stuff), and many, many more items that do not come immediately to mind. |
