Most of the pics you see of traditional yorkies (like in Amazing Yorkies' avatar that you commented on) are silk coats. It's really hard to tell what a puppy will have because their puppy coat constantly changes as they lose it and move on to the adult hair. I say hair, because they really have hair and not coats (they don't have an undercoat like most dogs).

From what I can tell in your avatar, she looks to have a silk coat as opposed to a cotton coat.

Thank you so much, Terri. I thought Eva must have the silky coat, but wasn't sure. I use the Yorkie Splash and Shine products on her coat and feed her Yorkie Royal Canine Puppy and she has a nice healthly glow, even though it's not as thick or long as some puppies I've seen on YT.
