Ana, although I had the male Collie as a child, he of course was an outside dog 99% of the time! I wonder ... if there had been belly bands way back then if my Daddy would have allowed Duke in the house all the time?? Nope!! He was a firm believer that a dog's place was outside! That is, until years later when I had a tiny little "Peek-a-poo"! He was as attached to her as I was! I have proof that she changed his mind about pets in the house! Picture of Daddy sleeping and Brandi sleeping on his chest in front of the TV in the den!! They were great pals and I miss them both!!
BTW ... she was the only pet ever allowed in his house!!
