I keep Lacey tethered when she's out of her crate. I also spend the greater part of my evening unwrapping the leash from around the chair legs, coffee table and anything else she can get wrapped around. It has helped tremendously with potty training though. I have two cats who have decided they like the bedroom better since Lacey has appeared on the scene. Lacey knows where they are but the leash stops right at the bedroom door. Saturday night she managed to bite the hook on the leash just right and got unleashed. I was in the kitchen. When I came back to the living room, she had gone into the bedroom where the cats are and one by one, removed their toys and added them to her pile in the living room. The cats just sat on the bed and watched. |
