It is something she typed up that just has a line for the vet to sign but he just wrote his name in there. Anyone could have done that. It did not list what specific tests were done either. It just said that he was in good health and any health problem to develop after I took him home would be my responsibility. I should have asked for a specific list and I should have insisted that the form be notarized. Anyway, the vet that I found has been totally awesome and this morning my little guy's PCV level was up from 20 on Friday and 22 on Saturday to 23 today! He is finally playing and eating the way a puppy should! Thanks again you guys!!! |
A real health certificate would have had an official letterhead on it. Did you have your little guy shipped to you? Did you ever see the place he came from? Some nasty people can hide behind internet and classified ads.
I know you love your little guy but that greeder owes you your money back. She misrepresented what she was selling you. Even if it was an accidental breeding it was still misrepresentation. The AKC will drop her if they find out she is doing this. If it's not AKC then there is not much you can do officially except make sure others find out what she is doing. Small claims court might be helpful if the greeder is near you.
