Unless you are adding water to the kibble, the food processor doesn't work so well. Mine made very little progress on dry kibble alone. I found it better to put it in a plastic bag and pound with a mallet, and this worked better for us. Once you add water to kibble, you'll have to refrigerate the leftovers.
