Gizmo also has that silky coat, and he always looked like a mess, even right after being groomed. I met a lady that ran a local tanning salon here, who also has a little boy yorkie. She said that her yorkie had the same hair trouble, and that she took him to a groomer and had them give him like a teddy bear cut. It's not real short, still about two inches all over, and trimmed around the eye's to open the face and the ears trimmed. It has worked miracles for gizmo's hair.
