Blood work was done & she was cleared to have the procedure today. We dropped her off this morning at 8:30AM & the procedure was scheduled for noon. Spoke to the vet at around 4PM, surgery went well, no complications. Camrey was in recovery but still groggy from the anesthesia and pain meds. They kept her over night to monitor her. We can pick her up between 10AM-5PM tomorrow. I'll be there at 10AM!!!! I keep thinking she is going to wake up in the middle of the night looking for us and flip out!!! She has such separation anxiety. Poor baby!

After reading what LibbysMommy posted, I am almost relieved that they kept her over night for monitoring!! I would have been a wreck. Hopefully by the time we pick her up tomorrow the anesthesia will be completely out of her system & we'll just have to contend with the pain meds.

LibbysMommy.... How is Libby now? I'm guessing she was moaning because she is probably a little sore from the incision and the anesthesia & pain meds have to make her loopy. Sending good thoughts your way for both of you. Please let me know how she is doing!!!
