I don't want to scare you but I thought I'd mention that in the past few months I've known 2 people who had their puppies wounds open up after surgery. One was due to licking the wound which they restitched but the puppy still ended up dying. The other one is my neighbors yorkie and the vet said her body was dissolving them. I'm not sure if they used glue or dissolving sutures. She had to be restitched but is doing well now. Just keep a close eye on her and the wound. My little girl was spayed a month ago and did great and was back to herself a couple of days after surgery. She had to have her sutures removed which was a piece of cake. She didn't flinch.
