I don't think you can blame the vaccines without knowing for sure what he had. You will never know...and a fear of vaccinations is really not good.

I also would not blame the vet because they told you from the first visit to go to Auburn and that the steroids were being given temporarily.

I realize you are hurt and looking for answers but blaming the vets really is not the answer to this.

This pup was extremely sick from the beginning and even if you had gone to Auburn the chances may not have been good for him. The advantage would have been that he would have gotten the right diagnosis and/or treatment or other suggestions. No vet can accurately diagnose and treat appropriately without the diagnostics being done.

At least Colby is now no longer in the pain that he lived with. I would choose to focus on that now.
