I had a horrible situation with a bitch, and the ultra sound, the tech told me that she was not pregnant, the vet told me that she as having a fake pregnancy, I took my girl to a repro vet in NYC and there they checked my girl really well and told me it was too early for xrays it was about day 48 or 49, I took her back at day 58 for xrays and she delivered 4 precious puppies, I don't have to tell you that I had not had my girl US any more , I take them for x rays at day 58... I am so sorry for your loss, I knew my girl was pregnant, something the US tech and the young vet told me that is was NOT happening..
sometimes you have to trust your gut and go get a a second opinion..
