I was told the interpretation of any test was just an opinion and shouldn't be construed as a fact. I've heard more than one breeder tell me what the vet said they thought a pup count was but that they never relief on that as final and never left a whelping female - some for up to x-number of hours - seems like it was 18 or something. I'm sorry that these poor little puppies had to die like this! Poor, sweet little things. I so hope they didn't suffer terribly. Gosh, it hurts to even read what you wrote about how that one died - so awful!!!
