You are very lucky your small dog was still alive by the time you got home. I will be praying that your little one is getting better and better. In the future, remember, according to the AVMA, two bouts of diarrhea in 24 hours should result in seeking veterinary attention. Small dogs get dehydated so fast and there is always the chance they have early HGE, as yours had. Here's hoping that baby is well in a matter of days!
