I feel with insurance it is a comfort that money will never be an issue if our babies should have problems. It isn't always easy to come up with $3,000 plus at the drop of a hat. I worked out that for a lifetime of insurance payments one only needs one major event and it is paid for. Also med prices with chronic diseases add up over the years. I got the insurance for possible LP surgery as that is so common with Yorkies, but the poor guy got juvenile ( hereditary?) cataracts instead - certainly something I did not plan for. Hope your health fortunes are better in the future. You sure have been through the mill lately. |
So true! I never bought insurance although I had considered it and not sure even now if I will. I am still wavering on that. I have to believe that the likelihood of getting slammed with so many at one time is a rarity. But...we never really know. You are right though...one illness can make the insurance payments seem like nothing.
