Wow, that part of his blog you quoted was really a good read...what a thoughtful, insightful, introspective man...ya know? He really had some obvious depth to him - I love that in people. Just adds to the bitterness of his demise, bc it sounds like the world lost someone pretty special.
The axe murderer comment is so spooky in hindsight...we so often write things that our subconscious knows way more about than our conscious does. I bet this was written during that time when Jodi was stalking him and slashing his tires. It's like a precognition.
I agree that Jodi was undone by her obsession with him, and by the fact that she wasn't 'good enough' (in her mind). She artfully pretended to him that it was all good with her (not marrying etc) when in fact I think it drove her crazy...literally and figuratively.
