I checked into also and found a vet just a few miles from me. It's a shame my regular vet doesn't participate. I will definitely check with them further to ask about their experience with toy breeds. My mom's Piper is just 2.25 pounds at 18 weeks, and Mom is adamant about spaying her before her first heat.
