Prayers for Dr. Deidre Blackmon's family and friends. The story behind the incident is allegedly this: Dr. Blackmon and two female friends were having a night out to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of one of the ladies. They stopped into a convenience store; upon leaving, one of her friends became became ill next to another customer's car. A woman from that car allegedly got into an argument with one or more of Dr. Blackmon's party who then drove off. The other car reportedly followed and fired several shots, fatally wounding Dr. Blackmon. The woman from that car was reportedly caught on the convenience store camera; this lead to her arrest and that of her boyfriend, the alleged shooter. Too sad for words. At least they caught the evil ********. |
