I recently removed KissAble toothpaste from my store because it contains Tea Tree Oil, which in quantity, can be toxic to dogs. Although KissAble toothpaste is widely used and sold at pet holistic stores, and I have never read of any negative experiences, I would error on the side of caution and not use it.
I use C.E.T. toothpaste.
For a pregnant dog, I would probably skip the toothpaste and brush with a wet toothbrush, and use a little organic coconut oil afterward.
