That's funny Carol Jean, I know all about those flying gazelle jumps. Kip is a big girl at 12 lbs. and I never worried too much about her jumping. But at age 3 she slipped on a patch of ice out in the driveway after running like a cheetah and had to have her rear right knee surgically corrected for LP. I'm glad that this subject came up. My new baby will be a lot smaller and now I know to be careful with the jumping. Kip now sits and waits for me to pick her up if she doesn't feel like jumping, or if I am there she'll sit when I say "carry" and I'll help her up. But then she is 6 y/o too.
