Hi everyone. I really hate to bring this up as I'm not sure if it's Princess Sophie's problem or mine!
Sophie has her days and nights mixed up. She's now 13 weeks old (I had miscounted her age previously) and when we first brought her home, she was sleeping 8 hours each night. Now however, she's up every 2 hours to pee throughout the night. I don't want to hurt her by trying to keep her awake longer during the day as she is still so very young but I would like some advice on whether or not I can encourage her to stay up more during the day to encourage her to sleep longer during the night? I don't work outside the home so it's not like I have a job on the line or anything like that, I'd just like to get some more sleep.
We are free feeding her and giving her a treat each time she goes potty on her pad and this morning (2 am), I was actually thinking

she may be waking herself because she knows when she goes potty she gets a treat however I think that idea is a bit wacky as now I am sleep deprived and Sophie is just dozing. LOL I'm not at my wits end but wondering if anyone can offer some good advice and if there is anything I can do to help change this??
P.S. I cannot sleep during the day so trying to nap when she naps is out of the question. LOL
