My Vet gave me several reports about spay and neuter. The reports state there are many advantages to waiting on this until the dog has reached sexual maturity and the bone growth plates are finished growing. Most Yorkies are finished growing around one year of age. Many others on Yorkie talk have been given the same advice by their Vet.
