Louis Vuitton carriers are made of canvas with leather trim. You pay for the workmanship and the name. Certainly not what it is made of.
I have some of their products and will say that they are fairly durable. My Pippi has a collar and has worn it for a few years. Her brother had one but one of my foster pups had that for lunch one day.
Are they worth the money? Only if you think so....kind of up to the person buying it. The leather on a handbag I purchased is a bit worn and torn in spots. I swear that my Coach handbags are much more durable.
Probably my nicest carrier is made by Coach. They have not made a carrier in quite some time but they really are nicely made. They recently started making dog collars again, so perhaps they will make a carrier in the near future.
