Females are generally not ready to breed until around the 11th day of their heat cycle. Has she been bred before? Please keep your male and female separated. If your male should happen to tie your female when you are not there to assist them then then they could get hurt.

Some females are never receptive to males no matter what time of the heat cycle. I have even heard of some females killing the male.

Perhaps it would be best if you did not let them breed until you are more knowledgeable about breeding. It is a huge responsibility raising a litter of pups.
