Yes, hold the chin or jaw hair when cutting around the face. It really important to always point the scissors away from eyes, so even if they jerk the scissors won't go in their eyes. Many people suggest using a baby scissors with rounded tips if you cut the little inverted V above the eyes. See this picture:: vcut.jpg I also gave plenty of cheerios as treats, so the boys have learned to become patient with me. As he got older, I grew out the forehead hair, and quit doing the inverted V, it seemed to always be irritating his eyes.
