That is almost exactly how I cut Jada's beard now. I was keeping it long but she sits and grooms herself and chews the ends. That's how she wrapped hair around her tooth. My vet recommended to keep her beard short. I hated it at first and now I just think she looks like an adorable little pup.
Foxy is adorable and her hair will grown back out. I hate groomers who don't do what you ask, that is one reason I just taught myself and do their grooming at home now.
