royal canin is the only dry food that archie eats. as a matter of fact, he sometimes prefers it over the wet food. it was really hard to get him to eat dry food by himself, but i can hear him crunching away in the middle of the night.
it's not the best out there, but to compensate, i feed him innova wet which is really the best wet food out there. I like the size of the RC kibbles. although he really likes innova dry food, the kibbles are pretty big. i don't mind the fat content in foods as much because archie gets so much exercise that he needs it. dogs tend to regulate themselves most of the time, but if you only give them certain foods or too much of it, they might get overweight. i give archie a little bit of food in the morning and more at night. just enough to cover the bottom of his bowl. |
